It's a family-owned spot built on Sicilian recipes, open for breakfast, lunch, and pizza most days of the week, the kind of place that exists specifically to feed people who are already out and about in this part of the county rather than driving in for it.
That's the whole appeal of the 19th. The two events sit along the same short run of road, a short drive apart.
The Same Saturday, Three Different Driveways
September 26 doesn't work that way. The same Saturday, the county offers the FXBG Fall Fairy and Dragon Festival at Mattaponi Winery starting at 11:30 a.m., a Licata Group event at Wilderness Run Vineyards starting at noon, and the Cannonball Century, a long-distance bike ride, launching from YMCA Spotsylvania SACC at 7 a.m. Three legitimate reasons to leave the house, none of them within walking distance of the other two.
The three events fall on the same Saturday. The county's wineries, breweries, and resort venues are located around its edges rather than clustered downtown, and their event calendars can overlap.
